Prior to founding Develocity, Hans Dockter created the Gradle Build Tool, one of the world's most widely used build systems. Before that, he led build and continuous delivery projects for major enterprises and held software engineering roles at Volkswagen and several startups. He also created the JBoss-IDE and co-founded a consulting company with Eric Evans focused on Domain-Driven Design. Hans is a Java Champion and holds a master's degree in physics from the University of Göttingen.

Dr. Rolf Dockter brings more than 25 years of operational finance experience, beginning at Deloitte in financial services, where he qualified as a German Certified Public Accountant (Wirtschaftsprüfer). He later served as a partner in restructuring advisory at Baker Tilly and other consulting firms, and as Chief Restructuring Officer and CFO at companies undergoing transformation. Rolf holds a doctorate in economics from the University of Trier and a master's degree in industrial engineering and management (Dipl.-Wirtschaftsingenieur) from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern.

Etienne Studer is a co-founder of the Develocity platform and leads the engineering organization that builds the product. Since 2015, he has grown it into a globally distributed team, currently focusing on its transition to an AI-centric organization. Before Develocity, he was CTO at edorasware, where he built its business automation platform and grew its customer adoption. He is a longtime open-source contributor and speaks regularly on developer productivity. Etienne is based in Basel, Switzerland, and holds a master's degree in molecular biology from the University of Basel.

Julianne leads Develocity's global sales organization and the enterprise go-to-market motion behind it. She came up through the business itself, from lead development to enterprise account management to running sales, which means she understands Develocity's customers, product, and market from the inside out rather than from a distance. That operator's instinct defines how she leads. She has built an enterprise sales motion grounded in real customer outcomes, and she coaches her team to sell the same way. "The best enterprise software is earned through outcomes, not pitched through features," she says. Earlier in her career she sharpened her enterprise edge at FogLogic and got her start in financial services at Credit Suisse. Julianne is currently enrolled in the Wharton School's Chief Revenue Officer Program, and holds a degree in international affairs and international economics from Marquette University.

Rence Holt is the Head of Marketing at Develocity, where he leads go-to-market strategy and demand generation for Develocity, helping engineering organizations improve developer productivity and software delivery. With more than a decade of experience in enterprise B2B SaaS, Rence has built and scaled growth programs for developer, AI, cloud infrastructure, and data platforms, including leadership roles at DataStax, Neo4j, Hydrolix. He specializes in product-led growth, enterprise demand generation, and translating complex technical products into scalable go-to-market strategies that drive measurable business impact.

Frank Zhu is Develocity's senior outward-facing technical leader, engaging enterprise customers, prospects, and partners on software delivery strategy and representing the company at industry events. He also leads the presales organization. Before joining Develocity, he held solutions architecture and sales engineering leadership roles at Chronosphere, JFrog, NGINX, and Oracle. He is a frequent speaker and writer on DevOps, observability, and software supply chain governance, and is based in Atlanta.

Piotr Jagielski leads the engineering and developer relations teams for the Gradle Build Tool, the open-source build automation system used across the JVM and Android ecosystems. Before joining Develocity, he led teams responsible for development, quality assurance, and operations for the TripCase travel application, delivering its mobile app to millions of travelers. He is based in Kraków, Poland, and holds a master's degree in computer science from AGH University of Krakow.

Christian Steil oversees operations and finance at Develocity, covering revenue and financial controlling, tax and finance, procurement, and business operations. He joined in 2017 to lead controlling and later took on the wider operations and finance function. Before Develocity, he headed controlling at Drahtzug Stein, an international manufacturing company with around 1,600 employees, and earlier worked in purchase management for South and Southwest Germany at the retail chain Eurospar. He holds a diploma in computer science from HTWG Konstanz and is based in Germany.

Adam Altounyan leads the security department at Develocity, spanning information security, application security, cloud security, privacy, and corporate IT. His organization owns security policy, compliance, risk management, and business continuity across the company and its products. Before joining Develocity he led security departments at Reward Gateway, an HR SaaS platform holding sensitive personal and salary data for over 10 million employees, and at Moneycorp, a regulated payments company moving more than £70 billion annually in London. He holds a CISSP and is based in England.

Dennis Welter supports the leadership of the sales organization at Develocity, driving sales operations, planning, and cross-functional execution. He works closely with the revenue and go-to-market teams to improve process and operating efficiency. Before joining Develocity, he worked in consulting, advising companies through restructuring. He is based in Berlin and holds a master's degree in industrial engineering and management from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.

Sanaz Oskouy leads the legal function at Develocity, including commercial contracts, corporate governance, and compliance for its enterprise engagements. Before joining the company in 2021, she practiced as a corporate attorney at Gunderson Dettmer, focused on venture financing and emerging-growth companies, and at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where she worked on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. She holds a Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law and a bachelor's degree in Communication and Political Science from the University of Southern California, and is admitted to the State Bar of California.
